Been a nice sunny afternoon here again. The TV in the conservatory had a bad aerial connection so I took the coaxial connector off to re-strip the wires back......and cant find it for love nor money


I think one of the young cats has spied it and legged it to play with. I've ordered some new ones off Ebay so the missus will have to watch TV in the living room until they arrive.

Been sunny all day but a chill to the wind ,
Getting a bit overcast now looking like a bit of rain on the way.
Steak & ale pie mash and peas tonight followed by apple pie.

Evening, dunno what I've done to my right ankle. Stepping from one level to another, step at the back door etc, feels as if somebody's sticking a knife in it, a real sharp intake of breath pain.

What a miserable, wet, murky, foggy and grey day it's been.
Too cold for salad - so I had to force a Pukka Pie (chicken & mushroom), mash, celery and green beans down me. I found some Henry Weston's Vintage cider I'd forgotten about - so popped it in the freezer for a while to chill it off - and forgot about it
I'm now drinking cider - with cider ice

Only two more sleeps and I'm off on my jollies

I'm in Saltash from Friday, 1st, till Monday, collecting house keys. Then back in Saltash on the 13th. Might be able to squeeze a pie or two in, or maybe a cream tea somewhere.
