We have been very fortunate I had 2 jobs but I packed in my driving instructor side 2 weeks before lockdown.
It was inevitable the government where shutting the country down piece by piece. I had only been trading a year so I couldn't claim anything . Plus due to lockdown our kids where at home and no family, anywhere else . I kept my other job I work alone 18 hrs a week and wife had her hours upped . And now works 3 to 4, 24 hour shifts a week. We have managed well. And every day we feel privileged and we don't forget how other people have suffered and still are. We never feel smug about our situation . If anyone can afford to then when you get the chance make sure you put a few items in the food bank trolley at the local supermarket as there are lots of families really struggling .
