Personally, I like the SAIC MG stock we have - I bought in literally hundreds when I found production of them was stopped, but we have plenty left.

A good, solid bush, properly aligned and the casting is decent quality.

We've sold around 1400 pairs so far, with none reported as faulty - and have the following age / mileages reported on friends and family vehicles:

75 Tourer, fitted March 2013, covered 55,000 miles
75 Saloon, fitted April 2013, covered 30,000 miles
ZT Tourer (my own), fitted late 2013 (not got the date to hand), covered 70,000 miles

They last, have a 5 year warranty direct with me, and are less than £50 per pair.

Rather large void on those Mat.........I prefer the Unipart ones personally.

I fitted Unipart bushes to my 1800 five years ago, still perfect

The Unipart bushes are very good too - just my 2p.
Anything is better than Starline / OCAP rubbish from you know where....

It's a nightmare finding decent replacement parts. I bought Unipart front drop links and received 2 obviously different components in Unipart boxes.

If you're after a set, I have some Longbridge factory originals at the moment. Not cheap, but they should see the 100k+ the originals do

I fitted Unipart bushes to mine 6 years ago and they failed the MOT this year. A long(ish) time but not many miles covered.

New ones bought from Matt though only one fitted so far.

The original Unipart bushes have now been on our CDT for nearly 6 years and just over 60k miles.

Whether the current ones are of the same quality is open to question and I suspect that they are likely to be not dissimilar to those from Borg & Beck and First Line.

Are the bushes from the link in the first post as good as the Unipart bushes used to be?

If you compare the Unipart bushes in Arctic's post below, photographed in 2017:
https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...6&postcount=23

They are obviously beefier to those Unipart bushes just purchased by Mangizmo here:
https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...52&postcount=1

So are the Unipart bushes therefore no longer as beefy as they used to be and if so, where can you buy the beefy ones from, if anywhere now?

The quality of the rubber used nowadays varies greatly too, you know you have a cheap bush if you can push it onto the arm just using your hands.
