Default Rare saloon cargo net

Original cargo net for the saloon (not estate!).

Rare optional extra requested from the Cowley factory in 1999.

Priced strongly I know, but I believe this was quite a rare option to spec on the saloon. Correct me if I’m wrong!
Probably one for the serious Rover 75 enthusiast only @
£90 inclusive of postage.

Do you have both nets? They came as a set new...
One net site across the back and the other net sits where shown in your pic. £90 for one net only is extreme. If you have both and the fitting kit then fair play.

You're wrong. Cargo nets were standard with all cowley saloons. They were culled as part of ppd, partly because they were expensive to produce and partly because they had no practical use

I've got a Cowley built Connie 1999 (LHD - export) and I haven't any.
£90? It doesn't look on the cheap side...

No but the interior being mint for her age (even driver leather seat & nearly perfect sandstone carpets) and all being in place and in good order (including reclining back seat & ski trapdoor), I'm doubtful that the upper net at least might have been stripped off. Why?

EDIT: However I'm aware of several differences between mainland & export cars. I've recently got the entire commercial brochure in French on Ebay.
And It reads that "filets a bagages dans l'espace de chargement" (luggage nets in the boot) were one of the 70 accessories to be bought besides.

It was down as a cost optional extra on the original car purchase sheet I had for the car. As stated, I thought it was a rare option, but I’m sure others on here know better.

I’m opennto offers of what people think it is worth.

They were an accessory, not a factory option per say, though dealers could obviously include them in a customer order and fit them before delivery. The set comprises of 2 nets, there is only one shown here, and even if the two were included, this would still be too pricey in my opinion. I got mine, new-old-stock, in their original box about 4 years ago for less than half of that price.
