Default Bite my tongue or not ?

This happens to me quite often , when in conversation about my ZT with other motorists they often refer to the ZT as a Rover ??? I know some people see it as a Rover 75 in a trackuit but come on , cant they see the MG badge on the front, back and steering wheel ? So far ive been able to keep myself in check but one day Basil Fawlty is going to leap out swinging his bush "Right , thats it youve pushed me beyond the point and now your having a damb good thrashing"! Or am i just being touchy .

By calling it a Rover, they are uplifting you into a higher class of man. Enjoy the dizzy heights!

You could always correct them and say it's a Jag.

They're probably just winding you up, just ignore. Anyway, realistically there's not that much difference between the MGs and Rovers.

Wink

Colleagues at work laugh and say its a Rover, I correct them by informing them "It's not a Rover, its an MG, same family, differant stable". 😊

That's funny, I've never heard that before, made me laugh it did.

I agree though, seems to fit nicely.

The Rover 75 is wearing a suit and tie, the ZT is wearing a tracksuit.
