Are you there
Hi Andrew, Sorry for the late reply as been very busy at work as I run a small business, not even been on the Rover Forum for a few weeks.
At the moment working 6 days a week and sometimes Sunday. You mentioned you cambelts want doing, well this is not an easy job, the first one I did on my Rover took over 12 hours as the thermostat housing and inlet manifolds were slightly leaking, and on my other Rover V6 now sold took over 10 hours. No one in Dunedin or Mosgiel except Cook Howlson the ex Rover dealers would do them, Howlsons wanted $2200 to do the job, the way I did mine was my own way which is not recommended and if something went wrong well is was on my own car, other problems I had was fuel leaks and the breather pipes breaking. I could not take the risk of doing one on other members cars its just too risky and very time consuming, almost everything you do on a Rover 75 is time consuming, jobs to be done on mine is Aircon Compressor seized central door locking system playing up and manifold rattling, hopefully do these in summer. Cheers Derek |
