Rust stopper/converter
Can anyone recommend a rust treatment that actually does what it claims. I have a bubble on rear arch I want to halt before I can perform proper surgical removal.
Thanks. Lee.

Thanks Trikey, just want to slow or stop it till it's warm enough to repair properly.

Looking like Kurust has the edge. I don't recall seeing that brand on my trawl through EBay.

Good morning,
Try a Google search for Bilt Hamber. They are a British company based in Essex. I find their rust remover (Deox-c or Deox gel to be far superior to Kurust. Kurust is a Hammerite product which you can get from Halfords, so much easier to buy. Having said that, Kurust does work & I do still use it, I just prefer Bilt Hamber. Rob

The BH Detox-C is brilliant if you can remove and immerse the rusted item in a container of the made up solution. The Gel is great where you can only brush it on the rust. Good luck John
