Question Sat Nav problem

I have a problem with the built in Sat Nav on my Rover 75. There is no response on the display when the consul switches are pressed. The control unit in the boot appears to be ok, CD is in, light is on. Had it checked in a garage recently, and he advised me that to repair it would cost over £2000. HELP, any suggestions out there.

Thread moved to Factory fit Sat Nav forum.

When you say, there is no response, do you get a menu picture on the TV screen (assuming it is the highline version)?
