Good morning Bob, you must have green fingers I had a FB request from someone on your friends list called Neil L. Is he okay to accept as I have not met him?

By the time they get electric cars right, I'll be too old to drive one! I haven't spoken to many people who have not had teething, or major problems with them. As far as all the electronics go, I'm sick of hearing the words sensor problems!

Too many gadgets and driver "aids", that I just don't want or need.

..and I read in the Sunday press that it is now MORE expensive to fast charge an electric vehicle than to fill up a tank of petrol or diesel. Just remember, it's called progress!

Afternoon Phil, Mams a trooper & doesn't complain, I dropped her off at the ward as it's going to be a four hour job mostly making sure she's OK after the procedure/local anesthetic so I came home & did some shopping.
The staff nurse looking after her said she'll give me a ring when she can be collected later this afternoon.

I'm OK just feeling really fatigued at present, They said this will happen with the hormone injections which I will be on for two years. My missus is in a flap because of how long it's taking to start the external beam radio therapy, I've the initial appointment at Christies in Oldham on the 2nd November then start the radio therapy from the 16th November at Christies Salford royal hospital.
In between I've got some urology appointments (flow tests), Two DVT appointments for my leg & a MRI thorax scan at Bolton general, The joys of getting old eh!

I had a text from the GP earlier, a mystery prescription that will be available from the pharmacy in 72 hours. I can only assume its the hormone stuff the specialist was on about, gel I think he said. I can only hope it gives me some of my get up and go back.
