Thank you, have made a note of Rimmer Bros details for future ref but Trikey has a good used one so just waiting for the price.

Hiya, I've had a look at the price on the Rimmers Bros site and that is too much for me. I think the car was sat in a field before I bought it as I have had to replace a hell of a lot of parts in the three years since I bought it. If you could give me a price for the used part that you have, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi Sue,

Didn't receive any pm from you strangely? £25 for the regulator, if your mechanic is busy I am available to come to you and sort it for you.

Just to let you all know, Sue now has a working window and a drivers door that can be opened from the outside.

Replaced the solenoid, and a replacement regulator, not a straightforward job as an aftermarket regulator had been fitted and the wiring plug changed.

Two trips to Cornwall as I didn't expect to find the wrong connector in there, at least it's all back to factory spec now, and drive thru coffee stops can be achieved easily.
