Similar to a mapped 1.8T then but not as quick

I’ve seen this car in person before this owner bought it and the driver front wheel was set back and bent at an angle so I passed on it then, it was around £7000 or £8000 then so it’s most definitely not worth the £12000 they are after

Don't tell me that!!! Talk about confirming the mid-life crisis😂😂

I mean, there seems to be some really good ones about, but I don't bother investigating because of the fact it's a gas guzzling v8.

What about other considerations, how reliable are they compared to a V6? How heavy is the clutch, is servicing more expensive? Would I need to sell.a kidney to insure?

Oh dear or dear, look what you've started!!!!!

I get well below that, but I do have a heavy right foot. Touring in France I achieved 27mpg over 2000 miles, over here much less and more like 20-25mpg depending on how much fun I want.

They are not the fastest car you will ever drive so you would be advised to have a drive or two in one before you commit and then see if you want one or not.
Gearbox isn't the best either but the smiles are worth it.
I have 164,000 miles on mine now, bought it 9 years ago and love it though it does have it's faults

Are you looking for a saloon or Tourer? I know of a nice pre-facelift ZT-T 260 that will be for sale soon in Cheshire.
