Default auto box oil change

Spoke to my local garage during the week (2 mins from me )..they advertise as a Rover/MG specialist...asked about an auto box oil change on my 75..response,,, we have not done one of those for years but will have a go...I asked if they had any mechanics that had done this before and they said no...I told them I was not prepared to let just anyone have a go at it ( as they put it)...
I booked it into Horners in Swinton for last friday which meant a 40 minute drive...the guys there are incredible and a fountain of knowledge about these cars..it was worth the extra time it took to get there even on the horrendous m60....The mechanic who worked on my car asked if my car had been chipped as it was extremely quick for a diesel...i said not to my knowledge unless it had been done before I got it....I am not sure how I would know...Anyway I am rambling,,,, I just thought the garage warranted a mention as they are brilliant at what they do...regards all..stew

The bonus is that because they know the cars so well they make you aware of future problems that other garages dont see..stew
