Foot Brake Pedal Rubber
Does anybody have a foot brake rubber for an automatic, spare, mine has worn down to the metal pedal and want's replacing. A new or a good used one would be great.

Rubber
Here's one seems a tad expensive but may be becoming scarce?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Genuin...-/301071946285 Or Rimmers http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001564 ................. No, marked no longer available. They seem to wear through on the corner very quickly. Strange that, it seems that Rimmers do have some but when I looked earlier it said no longer available. The only problem with the replacements is their wear rate. They are made in India, made of cheese and last less than 12 months.

As these cars age, the replacement parts (even ones that appear to be OEM) don't always match the quality/longevity of the originals do they? But I imagine it is not a problem just for our cars ... All the best, Nicholas/Zircon |

I think they were for the manuals ? The autos are much more expensive. It might be worth worth glueing some rubber sheet to the pedal before fitting the new cover to hopefully cure the short life of the present type.

Pedal Rubbers
Thanks to everyone for the information provided, have ordered one from Rimmer Bros. Just as a point to raise, it is a requirement for the MOT for all pedal rubbers to be in good condition. This must be in case your foot slip's of the steel pedal???
