Pretty sure over half of the Rover 75's were not exported, so slight discrepancy

in the figures.

Out of interest what would it take for your car to become classed as a "Classic car"?..
Does it depend on age and particular model or could all R75's become classic cars?

To be classed as a classic car in the eyes of the DVLA it has to be of a certain age and then becomes tax exempt, I believe this currently applies to cars built on or before a year in the late 60s

Felt quite proud watching it yesterday. Well done Jezzer for getting the excellent recognition that these motors deserve. Will the prices go up now? Get one more while you can lads at a reasonable price.

Will the prices go up now?...I'm not sure about that but it would'nt surprise me if they did go up in value. They have been way under valued for too long and there are encouraging recent posts on here about older cars passing the mot with ease.

Having said that if the value of mine doubled i still would'nt part with it.!

Great job there. It's people like Jeremy that will help make the 75 a classic

Fantastic to see a true enthusiast, in this case, Jeremy, appearing on the television. The cars looked fantastic.
In terms of classic status, it's utterly impossible to quantify, and anyone who believes there is a hard and fast formula is mistaken. As I see it, I couldn't care less, if someone thinks a car is, or is not, a classic. I'd be far more interested in a car owned by a really enthusiastic owner, who understands it, looks after it, etc, than yet another yawn-inducing Morris Minor.
