Top bloke and he does a double flush at very reasonable rates (as long as he is not fishing). Did mine a couple of years ago. Perfect since. |

I visited Terry at TS Autos in Stourbridge only last week - for the same job, plus service and a tricky airbag system issue (had rapidly turned me from loving my car into Basil Fawlty with his 1100 ) that no one within easy distance of Guildford would even volunteer to remedy. Terry is a true 'guru' as he actually was involved in building many of our cars - reasonable and very helpful to deal with. If any of you do find yourselves in 'Basil Fawlty' mode, Terry may prove to be your saviour. All the best, Nicholas/Zircon Last edited by Zircon; 3rd July 2014 at 12:35.. Reason: Spelling. |

You have hit the nail on the head.... I am now officially a "specialist" in the eyes of SWMBO.... she has a broken spring on her old Toyota.... thinks I could fix it easily....probably could... unfortunately there are about 1001 other jobs to be getting on with.. new bathroom to fit... after re-tiling, fitting new ceiling.... plastering walls... etc... skirting boards to fit around house... still fancy fitting a new double din radio to the car... garden needs doing again!!!... car needs a decent polish again... I tend to do my jobs carefully and properly, take my time etc, but there are only so many hours in a day and I have only one pair of hands... not been fishin' for nearly two weeks.... tour de france starts at the weekend... in the middle of world cup.... meant to be camping this weekend... puncture to fix on my pushbike, dogs waiting to go for another walk... back in work tonight... theres only one thing to do at a time like this.......... put the kettle on and have a cup of tea agree with the tools being an investment, I am lucky that I inherited a decent collection of proper heavy duty tools from my Dad, real socket sets, 1/2" and 3/4" drive... none of that namby pamby 3/8" stuff !!!! and a stack of old AF and Whitworth spanners.... I suppose I could have done the auto box fluid change by the time I have sat here messing on the pc ah well more tea then!!! Dave |
