Default MOT pass -phew!

Hi All,

Delighted to say (and mightily relieved!) that my year 2000 Cowley-built 2.5 has just passed her MOT.

Having spent the last month reading various grim stories of cars that haven't passed and the dilemmas and stress that has resulted for members, so I do realise how fortunate I am.

There was just one advisory - the same as last year ("Offside front Anti-roll bar linkage ball jointdust cover deteriorated, but preveting the ingress of dirt").

So, now I feel I can justify having the January supermarket dent to the rear near-side passenger door made good ... and may be even of making the trip to the Pride of Longbridge ...

A good word too for Nick at my very helpful local garage in Guildford, BEST Service Centre, who charged only £24.99 for the MOT (reduced fee if booked on line).

All the best, Nicholas/Zircon
