I am desperately sorry to hear this news.
Grandy really did play a large part in the form and I always enjoyed reading his various posts, even after he left 75 ownership. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family at this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to Deborah, Jane and Philip.
I hope that the outpouring of affectionate posts might give you some comfort to know how much your Dad meant to his friends here, whether he met them or corresponded direct - or like me - simply enjoyed reading about him and his beloved car. All best wishes, Nicholas/Zircon |

Just seen this sad news. Hopefully the family can take some comfort in knowing that he's not suffering anymore.
My dad passed away in 2013 from cancer and although we're not a religious family this poem kind of summed up how we all felt. God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered “Come with me”. With tearful eyes we saw him suffer and watched him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. |
