Indeed, it has not been a good year - and Alf's loss is really very sad to read about. Heartfelt condolences to all his family,

I am so sad to read this.

Alf was a real character that I met early on, through the forum, and we became friends.
He was a brave man that never complained about things, although his health was giving him a tough time.

My thoughts go out to Helen, his wife, who I could tell that he thought the world of, and his children and grand children that he was so proud of.

RIP Alf

What sad news. He will be missed by his wife and family. They were all very close. I met Alf a few years ago at a Poole Park meet and took some photos of his car. He was from the old school of hard knocks, never complaining, striving to pick himself back up. Alf was an intellect, an educator with the RNLI. He was a lovely man, a gentleman and he loved this club, his car.

Rest in peace Alf

Sincerest condolences to the family

Jessica and Phil
