Yellow car owners join rally in support of 'ugly' car

Hello all,

Here is heart-warming story which I have only just caught up with:

A convoy of 100 cars has driven through the Cotswold village of Bibury in an act of solidarity towards the elderly owner of a yellow Vauxhall Corsa owner - see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-39456449

One of the people behind this rally, who is also a member here, organises the annual Cowley-Longbridge Convoy on the day of the Pride of Longbridge, 15 April - you can enrol for free at http://cowleyconvoy.info/ . I throroughly recommend the scenic drive from the MINI plant in Oxford to Cofton Park which departs at 8 am. And you don't have to own a Cowley-built car to join - just a car with a 'connection' - so that includes all the Longbridge cars too

Saw.this on the news yesterday. Could not believe the attitude of the villagers against the owner
