If the fuse in the passenger fuse box has gone and can't be reached, then a single strand power supply ( from the battery. But if flat connected to a charged battery by jump leads to the in-car battery.) can be taken directly to fuse 14 mentioned above. This will bypass fuse No FL2 in the car. ( IF blown. )

This will require the bonnet to be opened but there is forum information on how to do that.

FL2 engine compartment is the one that the supplies the buss bar for fuse 1 passenger compartment fusebox (central locking BCU)

There isn't a fuse 14 in the engine compartment fusebox
