I never said they didn't but you never inquired about them, I simply answered your question.

Perhaps that statement should have been your previous post #210

On the other hand, I bet they don't clamour to shut the local Tesco if one of their customers tests positive for coronavirus We can all make decisions based upon cold hard logic, but after a couple of beers, forget it...........anyway it's too late to worry about it Fred, the scare tactics are well in place, people are afraid of everything including their shadows. Ah, Tesco, two metre markings on the floor in the queue, but certain people of a larger size don't comprehend that most of that two metres is taken up by them; then you get in the store and you have many people around you leaning across to get their items, whilst the staff are prancing back and forth regardless of the "arrows" to fill their online orders. Oh, I'm moaning again, perhaps I should step off the planet.

Just read the contact tracing information.
Apparently if you are contacted by a member of the contact tracing team to say you have been in close contact with a covid-19 carrier and told to self isolate, they will not tell you the identity of the carrier. In which case how are you able to agree and confirm that you have been in contact with that carrier. Seems to me the whole thing is open to abuse. If I am contacted I will need to know where, when and by whom I might have been infected so I know that the risk is genuine. What to others think? |

Well I would want to know, if only to shake them by the throat. Grasses, all of 'em.

As a result I'm considerably more relaxed about the whole affair, track and trace.........I'm not sure I would converse with them any more than I would any other unsolicited caller. The top and bottom of it is simple, I'm not prepared to give up any more of my data to be misused than humanly possible, no one needs to know where I've been, what I've spent my money on, and with whom, for the moment I cannot either contract nor pass on the virus, and if asked to provide contact details at the entrance to an establishment, they wouldn't relate to any type of reality that's for sure Brian |
