I have to agree, they are such great cars (although all my 75's & ZT's are petrol). I sold my 1966 Bentley T1 around 11yrs ago & kept my 1999 75 (which I still have).....now I seem to have ended up with a collection!

I'm one of those odd people who gets more pleasure working on my cars rather than driving them. Until 4 months ago I was doing 80km a day commuting in heavy traffic with my ZT190, now I am retired and enjoy taking pleasure trips and messing with the ZT and the MGF.
My poor MGF is now sitting in the garage, uninsured and hasn't been out for several months. The other day my wife suggested selling it which tells me that I have to start getting it out and about!

These cars must have been fantastic when new, my own car is a little careworn now, I'm hoping that the slow path to improvement I'm undertaking will pay off in time......
I have never had the pleasure of driving a V6, but I would relish doing so !!

You chose the train. I would chose the car, every time. Why own a car and use other transport. Perhaps you may have been dealt a duff hand by using the train to teach you a lesson. Get that comfortable car out and you can stop where you like, not where the train wants you to stop. Wherever I go, my car goes. Don’t see the reason to give money to other entities.

Perhaps I have been lucky in my driving life. I have driven 1/2/4/6/8 and 12 cylinder engined vehicles. The most mind bending..............12 cylinders. Wish I could have one last drive in one before I kick the bucket. Aston Martin comes to mind. Dreams are made of those moments.
