Default Morzine and back

I've just got back from a 1500 mile round trip to Morzine in my ZTT CDTI the motorway miles were a breeze especially with the retrofitted cruise control following the excellent guide on this forum it was a bit cumbersome on the alpine roads though, what struck me most though I did not see a single ZT or75 the whole time I nearly always see a few 75s in France but nothing,I spotted a few random older classics down there but my car on 03 plates was the oldest UK car I saw nearest was a Passat on 06 plates, everything else seemed to be hateful suvs ,I like the idea my car is getting slightly rare but sad that people throw away good old cars

Glad you had such a good trip in a great car. All things considered, is there a better car for motorway driving than the 75/zt ?

Mile munching ability is one of the subtle attributes the 75ZT possesses with spades, all with good economy to boot. I can not wait for a chance to go on the continent again. Really miss the 500 mile drive to see my son and family in Germany. I have always enjoyed long drives.i know some people worry about driving abroad, but I find it more relaxing than driving here.

Very relaxing if you know where you're going! SatNav not always all that reliable! I enjoyed my trip through France and Spain, even if it does cost twice as much as flying.

I always enjoyed the 700km round trip on the Autobahns to Lower Saxony and back to visit my sister. Damn good roads, and add on driving a mile munching 75, it's one of life's joys.
