Happy Birthday, MOT & locking
I forgot my cars birthday - it was 21 on the the 10th of August.
:¬) I thought I'd got away with it when she passed her MOT today :¬) But when I went to unlock the car to drive home the drivers door didnt unlock :¬( It locks ok but doesnt even click when I try to unlock so I guess its a wire / connection somewhere (presume its the same motor that does both actions). There is always something....

Sounds like a worn solenoid to me.

got to be that or a wire gone. Do you know if its the same solenoid that does the lock and unlock? It locks ok but total silence on the unlock.
