Thanks for posting this.

Even though it endorses the sentiment expressed by many that it’s the “Poor Man’s Jag”, it does it as a back-handed compliment, and it has some nice pics, especially the dashboard shot.

The reference to Bergerac by the writer should I think be to Midsomer Murders - he must have been thinking of John Nettles who acted in both but it was a Triumph Roadster he drove in Bergerac. Just nit-picking, of course!

A nice little write up so thanks for the link.

Interestingly, he refers to the Rover 75 harking back to the Rover P6 but it was P5/P5B used as inspiration if I recall.
