Default I’m back again!

Just bought my way back into the fold, a 2004 ZT-T 115 in BRG.
Did a deal and drove home this afternoon, so far so good, many regular upgrades fitted including a switchable tuning box - seller called it Roveron or something like that?
It’s got a Kenwood tape player with 10cd changer but it sounds good so will be staying in, lovely BRG bodywork that requires a few marks polishing out, big bonus for me of having a tow bar already fitted. Ran at 9 o’clock on the temp gauge thanks to R5 stat. A bit of wander at the front so will get tracking checked but not worrying. Loud wind noise at top of screen will need sorting, Project drive cost cuts evident in places inc, Noddy horn!
A light interior valet to do but otherwise all good. This tuning box - doesn’t feel as peppy as my 75 did with a 143 remap, but deceptively fast, just doesn’t feel it!
Couple of tyres to do soon but ok for now.
Happy!

Would Project Drive include roof soundproofing? Does sound tinny.

What a lovely looking car, it suits that colour and the registration too !!

I may be wrong, but were not all the facelifted diesel models 135 units? it seems a little strange to find a CDT specification car

Very strange to find a facelift 116..

This vehicle was the 5,804th ZT-T to run off the production line, out of 8,249
This vehicle was the 397th ZT-T CDTi + (115) to be made out of 522
This vehicle was the 227th ZT-T in British Racing Green Pearlescent (code: HFF) to be made out of 309 British Racing Green Pearlescent ZT-Ts

It took a bit of finding this car, had been trawling on here, trader, car&classic, gumtree, eBay, Preloved, found it by googling MGOC and MGCC classifieds! Phoned the seller and he’d put it on Trader an hour or two earlier. Worth the hunt though.

Another Question: can I use 16” rims on this? I have a set of winter tyres from my old VW, 205/60/16. If so I’ll find a set before it gets cold.

Yes, its only the 190's and 260's that require the 18" rims too clear the larger brakes.

You could fit 15" wheels if you wanted to.
