This has precious little to do with the "P" word.

It's to do with the walking gobby ones determined to be special ones with superlative powers and position. They just happen to be MP's and I couldn't give a tossed penny for them. Don't care if they are sky blue pink with a Finny Haddie Border either (you might need a Northern translator for that).

Unfortunately their captive constituents, eager for a bandwagon on which to jump, are to blame for electing such idiots on such flimsy grounds. A plague on them. Oh, there is.

I would have thought the wilful and deliberate spreading of Covid, and there can be no plausible deniability when you are in possession of a positive test, should be punishable in law, irrespective of punitive measures taken by her employers.

How about this??

Both very true statements, but....

I would have thought everyone in the public eye would know that, and be extra careful.

Lots may have done worse, but that doesn’t excuse her, or anyone else, let alone lessen the stupid arrogance she showed.

Stupidity and scandalous behaviour continues with our elected so called bastions serving our country and the voters. It just doesn't stop, again, and again they are caught out by their disgraceful behaviour.
The only saving grace for we poor electorate, is the never ending varieties of what they get up to, it's sort of entertaining in its own way.
Affairs, fiddling, swapping main houses, a Welsh Secretary found on Hampstead Heath at midnight with his pants round his ankles, ( he claims he was lost and asking directions), " Jim", the washing machine salesman supposedly demonstrating a new machine to young men at 1130 p.m. Mr "Green ", a.k.a. mr Shapps. Jacqui Smith porn. Corbyn having dinner with 8 people,It's astonishing.

Will we ever see a day we will able to rely on them for their honesty ?
Nah, it's just a dream

I normally can’t stand listening to that little wifey in Edinburgh, but during FM briefing today on the subject of the MP travelling with Covid the FM was direct and honest about it. I actually wish politicians from all sides would take heed how she handled it. Quite admirable I hate to say, there I got it of my chest.

I'm not sure she can be accused of "wilful and deliberate spreading of Covid". Has it been proved anyone has contracted covid from her as a result of the two train journeys and even if they have, "wilful and deliberate spreading of Covid" would be hard to prove

If you are in possession of a positive Covid test, I would say it is reckless endangerment to travel via public transport.

Look up the meaning Ian if it unfamiliar to you, but irrespective of her public position what she has done is plainly wrong, and anyone else would have the book (quite rightly) thrown at them

She should resign end of.

I'm no fan of Ms Sturgeon or the SNP but the First Minister has handled it well, no defending the undefendable. No trying to cover it up or making excuses and has told her to stand down as an MP. I bet there won't be a press conference in the garden of Bute House either
