Default Here's a question for you all.

What made you buy a 75 or ZT and why, what is it as a car that apeals to you, If its ride comfort, interior exterior styling and so on.?

What I like about the 75 diesel has to be the fact thats it MPG is great for the size of the car, most cars in its class doesn't compare to it.

Its a all rounder, looks great, cheap on diesel, not bad to work on and lots of toys.

I was a salesman in a Rover dealership at the time they were launched & wanted one from the first time I saw one in the flesh.

Loved it from the day it hit the showrooms....there is no other car on the road
has the effect that the 75 has on me ...stunning looks .....beautiful interiors
exceptional performance...7 years of ownership and it still feels perfect

General all-round styling really, but especially the interior! And have liked them for many years purely for that fact, but never thought I could ever afford one!

Picked a Connie in Steel Blue with Neptune Leather as a company car back in 99 as something new & nicely styled, at the time a car park full of Golfs, Mondeo's, an IS200 and a couple of higher management five series Beemers..

When it was delivered no one wanted to park next to it as it made their cars look soooo bland. The management boys wanted to know how I managed to get such a high specced car on my budget.

One comment from the IS200 driver was 'Bravo Mr Richardson that is gorgeous and will certainly p*** a few people off'...

He wasn't wrong either and 75's started popping up in the company car parks at all the branches...When I left I think there were quite a few dotted around the country.

Now, well I still think they are great and stunning value for money..and would be at twice or three times what you can get them for imo..

For me its the aggesive front of the car that i love the look of with the quad headlights. . The huge slab like doors make it look almost indestructible in appearance and when you enter the car it feels safe inviting and very luxurious. The only thing i don't like is the small glove box and the pale cream coloured steering wheel.I know its down to personal taste but i think the75 /Zt look better in lighter colours like wedgewood blue etc. I think the 75 looks best in old English white. Its cream in colour and it just looks very classy and shows off the fantastic curves of the car.
This is all down to my personal view so i hope I've not offended anybody.
Apart from that 'it is best car I've ever owned to date and would be more than happy to have any colour' spec 'or engine just so long that i could afford to run and repair it.
Many thanks John
