Applied yet another liberal dosing of plus-gas in preparation for removal of the ns front strut, as the os one was an absolute pig. I'm not holding my breath though.

His car had a coming together with a stolen car being chased by the rozzers. More or less took the front off it. Pictures on here somewhere.

Luckily I got a reasonable insurance settlement and sold my MGF for a decent price so I have bought a LHD ZT-T from Germany. The car should be here by this time next week and in the meantime I am stripping what I want from the ZT before the remains go to my mate Jess to act as a donor for my ZT-T and his two 75's. Today the seats came out along with the instrument cluster, the lighting unit and some other bits and pieces. Fun and games! [IMG][/IMG]

Today I restored my headlight lenses. I used a kit from ebay which was £11 and it took about an hour to do using a cordless drill. Before/after. Although in the "before" photo it looks better than it actually was because of being wet with rain.

Sorted out the A/C on my ZT.
Replaced the condenser and switch and new o ring seals. Brought all the necessary items to vacuum out all the air and refill with the correct gas and oil,now i have a chilled ZT. I attached the vacuum pump and gauges to the A/C system and let it run for 1 1/2 hours.switched it off and left it for another 1 1/2 hours to see if it held vacuum, which it did. Then i disconnected the pump and attached the A/C oil then gas and refilled the system. |

After 3.5 years on sorn, locked up in my garage and passing a recent MOT,watched my Launch car getting wet from rain for the first time in all that time.Fraid it's lost its cosy home as now needed for my motorbikes. Its still having to stay on sorn though, time to let it go I think.Regards Ryszard...

The NUK had a visit from Mrs Numatic today, and had all fluids checked, along with tyres pressures and tread depth.
1 2 seats were also treated to a good leather wipes clean. 3 4 tyres checked and air pressure corrected. 5 6 7 8 9 10
