Default She lives for another year...

The daily shed passed its MOT today. Well, it failed first last week. It needed a tiny bit of welding done on both sills and a rear tyre. Sills welded today, both rear tyres replaced and now a pass. She’s now almost on 224k. Not far off moon miles (225,623 at its closest point). She’s been a good car but also had its fair share of troubles. That’s what you get for buying such a high mileage car in the first place i guess...Do I regret buying her? Absolutely not! if I didn’t buy her, I wouldn’t of made so many friends through this club or gained information about our wonderful cars.
From doing around 12-15k a year to now very little...I’ve started a new job 2 months ago which is only a 5 min walk from my house so the car has barely been used these past few weeks. I’ve done about 50 miles in the last month! Very unlike me. Not sure whether to still keep her or sell her now as I’ve got two other cars, too! Decisions decisions.

Big thanks to the club for all the help and support over the last 3 years of ownership. I’ll be around for sometime yet. Whether it be this 75 or another one. I’m not going anywhere just yet...

From the pics, you could wind the clock back 150,000 and you couldn't tell the difference. But with its actual mileage, sadly, if you tried to sell it, you'd be lucky to get back the cost of the MoT. Says a lot for the engine and your maintenance of it that it had no emissions issues. Hoping mine, at around half the mileage, does as well. Well done indeed!
