Unhappy Hail 1 inch deep inside the Rover

On the way back from the Thrybergh Park meeting yesterday. We stopped off at the local B&Q store. Minnie our pet Jack Russell was on the back seat. I tried to drop the back nearside window for a little air, but got more than I bargained for! The window jammed and I investigated, but to my amazement when I touched the glass - the whole window crashed down and broke inside the door! Unfortunately it was just before a heavy hail shower and driving wind!

You must be due some decent luck with your car at some point, it just seems to be one thing after another at the moment.

You are not alone, last year during the heaviest part of the beast from the east, I had to remove the child seat from the car, as it was heavily snowing and I was in a rush, about 2 hours later my neighbour came round and told me I'd left the door open, the whole inside was covered in about a foot of snow, worse still I had to go out in the still blowing blizzard with the wet and dry vac to hoover as much as I could out of the car before it melted, not a pleasant experience.

That is unlucky, at least you cannot blame yourself.

You could hardly believe the weather we’ve been getting recently.
February was the warmest on record, yesterday it was a blizzard and today it was like a spring day, well up until 6.30 pm when it started bucketing again.

I had my Vanden Plas 1300 sitting outside without its doors on as I was spraying them in the garage. It’s now back inside tucked up safely
