Default How much does it cost to paint a front bumper?

Has anyone had their mk1 front bumper repainted? If so how much would it roughly cost? The bumpers for sale are not much different in condition to my own.

There’s a decent place in knottingley, good quality work but cheap compared with many others. But professionally painted, work on £100 to £150.

Certainly a lot cheaper "up t' north", in London and the South East you will be very lucky to get a bumper painted for under £400.

Midlands cost is between £100 and £150 when I last had one done (front or rear). Rarely have managed to pick up a car without scuffs on the corners!

I recently had a verbal quote for a small rear wheel arch repair, £400. A small lacquer repair on a bonnet, £300.

On questioning, wheel arch repair £100, paint £300.
Bonnet, complete respray, £300.

Minimum panel cost for painting £300.

All plus VAT.

Told "that's what Insurance Companies pay me"

I walked away.

Kent

Regards

Mike
