I was lucky enough to see this great plane as it flew directly above my house, that unmistakeable engine sound made me look up and there it was, flying low enough to get a very clear view. I'm only 500 yards from the main hospital in Middlesbrough.

I've been lucky enough to fly the Grace Spitfire, a dream of mine for years was to fly in one.

Well that beat me - I had some warning that it was on it's way. Unfortunately the long lens camera had all it's batteries in need of charge


Best I could do was 75mm lens on the lx100. Nearly fell over backwards taking a continuous burst of shots. My best one - heavily cropped...
