Unless she's a racing driver then the brake fluid will never get hot enough to start to vaporise the water and give brake fade.---

The water content in a sealed system that does not leak becomes quite inert. Contains less and less oxygen.

No oxygen means no oxidisation. Most folks who have cars that need a small amount of water to top up from time to time use tap water. --This is where the contaminants can get into the system and start corrosion.---Distilled water only for top ups.---
