Default Difficulty starting after continues rain

I Have a Rover75. On mornings after a night of rain my car refuses to start.
I have changed the high pressure pump, crank censor, can sensor. Also checked glow plugs. Everything is ok. Any ideas?

I suggest you check the ECU located in the plenum beneath the windscreen. Prone to flooding

I had same problem when first got the car, at a festival it turned very wet and car wouldnt start. Plenum’s where clogged resulting in engine bay bottom resembling swimming pool. We cleared the plenums and left bonnet up for sunny afternoon to dry out and got lucky it started later in day no problems since just keep eye on it.

Or try Big Russ (trader on here) - has plenty of diesel ECU's which he can programme as he is a T4 wizard as well.

Hi John.
Check the plenums to see if they have water in them, if so clear them, if you do find water in the plenums the ECU may have gone for a swim.

Only an hour from you is Jamie, drop him a PM message and he should be able to sort you out with an ECU if that is your problem, he as a virtual T4 with which he can check your car over with first.
