No journey is more important than any other, and to be honest I don't believe its the intention of any driver to cause a tailback. However there are times when you start an overtake procedure once you are along side the other truck has regained his momentum, personally if I am being overtaken then the cruise is reduced by a couple of mph to allow the other driver to pass . Unfortunately this does not happen with all drivers and there are times when you are hung out to dry and have to reduce speed and abort.
