Good morning Steve

How really very kind of you to go out and buy a new stick for Ging whilst suffering from the post vaccination aches and pains. We had the COVID jab a month ago but the flu Vac was not offered as it was too close to my operation. You have done well having both done at the same. When I was recently in hospital all of the doctors and nurses looking after me wore face masks and said they had Covid patients to look after, so the virus is still around and there are people sick in hospital with it. Jessica and I didn’t have any post Covid vaccine aches, so consider ourselves to be lucky we don’t feel like you.

Take care

Phil

As well getting them over and done with Phil. Side effects have taken a couple of days to really kick in, headache, feeling hot (not in that way!) and knackered! Where I got the covid jab in my left bicep is hard, hot and tender, nothing on t'other side where I had the flu jab.

There was a bit of urgency about getting the stick, Ging is going to the Philippines in a week or so for about a month. I'm not going, two reasons:
1/ discovered when we went to Rome that Suzy gets terrible separation anxiety, I mean really bad. Our neighbour was feeding the girls and letting them out, for two or three days Suzy wouldn't eat, just sat staring into space. We're her third "parents" so she probably thought she was being abandoned again couldn't leave her for a month.
2/ its about a 14 hour flight, it was bad enough when I was younger and fitter but now . . . . christ I'd probably need the services of a chiropractor to get off the plane.

Cool

Afternoon all. It’s still raining.

2nd builder arrived dead on time, and before he knocked he went and had a look at Banana. He used to have a Trophy Yellow ZR. Had to sell it so he could buy a van to start up his building business. Now he is trying to buy it back.

He explained what was wrong with the crack in the wall. He basically said the same as the first builder but he went into more detail on the repair. Waiting on the estimate.

If I wasn't knackered earlier I am now! The garden waste bin is full . . . . Ging texted "clip the bush at the front and put the clippings in a black bag!". OK, clipping it was bad enough but have you ever tried putting clippings in a black bag in a strong wind where the bag is flapping around like a flag
