Just received today virtually a full set of walnut trim from Simon, very quick delivery and a trader on this forum among others that can be trusted.

These add-ons have cost me 25% of the purchase price of the car, but a price I was willing to pay. They're very much a 'Marmite' thing I know and not to everyone's taste, but I think they add that finishing to touch to what already is a beautifully designed and looking car.

If you are waiting for any of Simon's trim please note that he has been in bed for a week with a bad cold, so he is a bit behind. Hopefully he will be ok in a few days and will get back to making and supplying.

I was about to order some trim when he had his earlier problems, hence i put it off. Just wondering if, apart from this cold, it is the right time to put in an order?

Received mine today, but ordered No27 instead of No24.
Will be placing new order for Chrome surrounds soon.

Thumbs up Sharing experience

Morning!
I bought mine walnut & chrome interior additions from both I found suppliers - mainly first from this one, than from Simon as extension due to the fact that I found his after ordered from the ebayer.

Just mentioning - from both I`m satisfied in 90%.

Ebayer`s disadvantages:
- Stereo F just 1 type - Simon`s are 3. Mine is from other 2;
- Heater /AC controls/ one is 4mm narrower than mine "base" - finally acceptable as isn`t observable from a distance.

Simon`s disadvantages:
- outer chrome surrounds for all of window switches are a bit narrower than mine "bases"
- all chrome tweeters surrounds are a bit narrower than the "base" - especially for the rear ones - how to apply them on a textile? Will DIY with a silicone;
- the same with outer surround for the hazard/lock switch.
May be I did something wrong with applying, but in doubt...

Simon`s HUGE advantage is that you are able to order every single part separately!

They look astonishing aren`t they?

By the way ebayer`s sets are a bit bargain right now.

Quick recovery Simon!!!
I`m waiting to order again.
