Like Amigo its only very mildly abrasive, but still shouldnt be used very often. Always top it with something.

Amigo is designed to go under a wax or sealant, but is much harder than SRP, so will enable your top coat to bond better and last longer.

Prima Amigo topped with Prima Banana Gloss perhaps? Should work well on a darkish colour like Trophy Blue.

I dont think its all that durable. Great for the summer because it gives a really deep gloss and you don't mind waxing every month, but for the winter months (or this summer!) id go for a tougher product like Collinite 476S or FK1000P on a light colour.

Banana Gloss doesn't last more than 8 weeks realistically but it's so forgiving of weather conditions and easy to use. It made my Royal Blue 75 look stunning.

Yeah an ideal summer wax. The beauty of 476S and FK1000P is that a couple of coats will last all winter. 6 months is possible.

There isnt any reason you cant use FK1000P on dark paint, but it wont have as much of a darkening effect that a natural wax will, and can make mid tone paint look 'blingy', almost plastic like.

This is where it gets annoying because of mis-naming. Meguiars call no7 a glaze, but its actually a jewelling polish, its ideal to use after ultimate compound to give a really refined surface.

Id use Prima Amigo as a real glaze, it gives a great, deep finish, even on silver, so is even better on black.

For a wax there are options depending on price and your wants. Collinite 476S last ages, but isnt the shiniest, although the Amigo will help it out no end. For real depth try Dodo Juice Blue Velvet or Purple Haze, Purple Haze being deeper maybe, but less durable.

If you want to make more of the metallic/pearl flake try something like Zaino Z8. Bit trickier to apply evenly, but will make the flakes more sparkly.
