Afternoon all.

Quizzie's had her Friday morning swim and is now curled up indoors as it's properly hot here.

The "hot" bit has prompted SWMBO so "suggest" the that lounge rugs are cleaned and ...oh, by the way..... the stairs and landing could do with being done too.....

Am I brave enough to pretend I didn't hear that...

I'll leave that to your imagination.

Take care everyone.

Cool

Afternoon all.

Parcel Force were on form. An ex-Rover 75 owner, John W Langton, had a display case for sale over on the book of faces. Brand new and still in its original box. Mirrored base with glass panels and the wood is oak I think. He only wanted what he paid for it, £20. So I sent money off on Tuesday via PayPal.

John posted it yesterday morning and it arrived this morning. Newcastle to Saltash. Blinding service.
John had bought the case to put an autographed football boot belonging to Alan Shearer.
So my bargain buy BoS Bentley Continental now has a nice glass case to sit in.

Got the front weeded, the weather is currently overcast but we did have some sun this morning.
Off out tonight up to The New Passage Inn to meet up with the Coffee and Cars group. Taking Banana for a run.

So early tea of fish n chips washed with a cuppa.

Decided to take it to bits today. Found the plastic internal moulding between the hose connection and the switch was split. Sealed it up with superglue, tested it, not leaking, hopefully it lasts.

Morning all, Grey skies & raining & much cooler here today.
What a job trying to assemble that wheelie bin surround yesterday, Got one out of three done I've never had to take things apart as much in life before to get all the screw & bolt holes lined up because of bad instructions & no picture of the three bin surround to go off.

Weekend brekkie time

Good morning everyone, good morning Ian, a superb looking breakfast and a great start….yum yum yummy

This time yesterday flying over us were many hot air balloons of various sizes and shapes…..on a jolly from Bath.

A bedroom view……

This morning I am clearing out stuff we have no longer space for or have stopped using and as I am not a hoarder, I will be visiting the council dump after breakfast.

If nothing else the girls keep you amused! Maya was lying on the sofa, there was a fly buzzing around her obviously annoying her. She snapped at it a couple of times, did it a third time and caught it! Her face changed "eww, its in my mouth!", she promptly spat it out onto the floor. She jumped down, inspected the fly then "had enough of you" and whacked it hard with her paw Jumped back onto the sofa and off to sleep again.

Afternoon Phil, There are some weird & wonderful shaped hot air balloons these days, Bristol seems to be a main area for it from what I read about those events.

I spent most of the day making more headway assembling those wheelie bin surrounds, All the frames are done now just the sheet metal to clad them now. My fingers are killing me with tightening small nuts & bolts up by hand.

Pork shoulder chops, onion gravy, new potatoes peas & sweetcorn for tea
