Farecla is good stuff.
G3 - cutting compound.
G10 - finishing compound
Wax polish is full of filler wax - looks good till you wash the filler wax out!!

It looks pretty uncomplicated in the video and seemed to do a good job.

Oy! go get your own thread! Only joking.

Well it's all T-cutted now. Although, at first, i thought to was a pig to use i finally found that (and this isn't a recommendation, so if it doesn't work for you...) the best way is to put it on, doesn't matter how much of a panel you do, leave it to dry completely, this takes ages, and them buff it off. The problems i was having was in trying to buff it off too soon.

Out side for a wash with APC. Then 3 washes with Astonish Wash and Wax.
It doesnt seem to bead up the same as before i T-cutted and APC'ed.

Its back in the workshop now to dry. Tomorrow i will have a go with the Spray n Shine. I will post some before and afters

PS; its a different colour now; more yellowy gold than grey gold. Its silky smooth too.

And one i have been enjoying....carry on lads.

While im here. This Spray and Shine stuff......it just come out like water. I have wiped it around but it doesn't polish off or polish off or anything. It just sits there.

Am i doing it right?

Do i just leave it to dry?

And would a second application be a good idea?

I don't know this Spray and Shine stuff. Who makes it? If it's like Showroom Shine it needs spreading around, which makes sense to get an even coverage, and then buffing. Showroom Shine components separate completely when stood still so you have to give it a very good shake before using it. You can see the separation through the bottle. Is your stuff the same?

The stuff Im using is Astonish car are Spray n Shine. The instructions just say "Spray on. Wipe with a microfiber cloth. Admire the shine.

But it just sits there like water no matter how much i wipe it around.

Should i dry it off with a cloth???????

I should think you only need just enough to be able to spread it over an area with one cloth and then wipe/buff it off with another one. Alternatively spray some on a cloth and just wipe it over and then buff with a clean cloth. That's the way I do it with the quick detailer I use. Just spray enough on to make the cloth damp and you should see where you've transferred it to the panel when you wipe it over. It prevents the product being blown away if it's windy and means you only put the stuff where you want it.
