It certainly seems like it will do, from what I've deduced from information found online. At first I wasn't sure, however it seems it makes a marked difference as it improves the quality of the feed to the HK amp.

BTW, I've made a rather detailed delve into the BM24 unit (including repair) here:

Just fitted the bm24 unit to my hk equipped 75 , and oh my god it's amazing !!
The difference in the sound quality , and the bass and how louder it is , is amazing best £65 I've spent on a car lol

Good news. I take it you have the HK with Highline yes? Is yours saloon or Tourer?
I retrofitted the HK speakers and amp to the Highline in my Launch car and I reckon the BM24 would be a fantastic upgrade to the sound.

Cheers

Hi DMGRS, Can you tell me what is the amplifier chip being used in the standard radio please?

With that info I can do a search to see if there's a possible replacement.

I either put in bmw bm24 in or Becker bm24 , mine was on for £100 or best offer , I offered £65 And it was accepted

Another great thing about the bm24 unit , you never have to tune the radio in , it finds all the stations for you and you can flick through them , the standard rover unit could only pick up two stations round here , the bm24 is in double figures !!!! I can pick up stations miles away !
Cheers

Just fitted mine

Paid £90 off eBay, gutted I didn't see that one posted above for £75

Nevermind, I'm so very pleased with the results. I've finally got decent sounds in the motor. I've got a HK set up waiting to be wired in to, then happy days

Thanks DMGRS, this is awesome I info

Tris
