Well, having taken delivery of my new 75 earlier in the week, I took the opportunity to check all the levels properly, check plenums, tyre pressures & give it a jolly good wash and wax!

Reasonable day today so gave the 260 a wash and general once over. If its the same tomorrow I'll swap the washer jets, same mod as I did with the turbo, fit Ford Focus Mk3 washer jets, way better than the MGR ones.

After noticing the handling of my manual tourer a bit 'floaty' compared with the Auto I had been using for a couple of weeks, I took it into work today for a look in the warmth and under cover.
The drivers side rear shock was totally shot, with the passenger side not far behind it.
In a stroke of good fortune, I had removed the very good Boge shocks from my engine donor car just before it went to be scrapped, and they just happened to be in work,so a couple of hours had the 'new' shocks fitted, and handling restored to normal.
Next job, try and find out what actual radio aerial extension I need to get Sean's DD unit working on my Highline set up, I'm struggling to find a definitive answer!

(v6) Changed the oil. Biggest pain was refitting the undertray.

Went on the hunt for bits, found a FBH but the board was missing, and a good carpet, but will have to wait for them to strip it before I can get it, so came home empty handed.
Thought I better check the noise I'm getting from the front. Found my flexi pipe is leaking, and one of my front wheel bearings is shot

Think I've bought money pit :,(

Walked past it on the way to the shops, wiped a bit of bird poo from the rear bumper, that's it never moved for 2 weeks

Collected my ZT-T CDTI yesterday

The rear wiper now works (the spindle was seized) and the radio now receives stations

Cool

Gave it a polish and went to Halfords as my telescopic magnet broke so needed to buy a new one and then got approached by a random member of the public asking questions about my car ,love it when that happens always makes me grin
