Default Intravee procurement / set up

Ok after selling a number of motorbike items on eBay I'm nearly in place to buy the outstanding part of highline system, the intravee unit. I have the requisite cables and the KCA 420i unit, even the ipod too. The daft thing is I do not have a laptop etc which I can play around with the features on the intravee, so before I speak to the gentlemen at at 'Toys in your car' I was wondering if you gents/ladies had any pointers or advise as I would ask them to set it up for me.

Appreciate I won't be able to use half of what unit is capable of due to being installed in the MG but suggestions as to what can be activated would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Tony

You surely don't need a laptop at all, unless you want to upgrade the firmware on the Intravee. Everything on the Intravee is configured through the highline monitor, once you set have it set up in your car...
As for the toysinyourcar folks, I bought mine from them. I'm not sure they'd be able to provide you with any predefined setup, they might upgrade the unit to the latest firmware if asked nicely

Problem is there is no stock of new ones at Toysinyourcar. Possibly new stock arriving end of August.

Ok I thought it needed to be set to UI 5 and you selected what you need on laptop, but ok happy to live and learn.

Intravee has come already, mind you they are only up the road lol. I'm like kid at Christmas lol. Swapped wiring from ten pin to the three and six pin BMW plugs I bought ages ago and away we go. iPod working and vehicle status too combined with added benefit of one touch 4 count flash for indicators. EPIC 😃😃😃
