Default Changing lowline satnav for highline satnav.

Hi there,
I bought a complete highline system and a HK audio system.
Want to replace the existing lowline satnav for it.

Connected all the components of the highline system and noticed that the cable for the mp3 changer is missing?

And what is this?

And this?

My GPS module is in the front of the car now but the new loom has the connector at the end of the loom (back of the car).

Is there a good howto or guide on this forum? I couldn't find one.

Thanks

Thanks

Here you go.

The Hi Line system was not fitted with a MP3 changer, so it been fitted by a previous owner of the system.

The CHM604 MP3 needs an interface unit for it to work with the hi Line system.

The interface is in an alloy box about 8cm x 8cm x 2.5 cm with ISO connectors.

A long blue lead between interface and changer allows installation in the boot.

And what is this?

This is your connections for the rear window am/fm radio aerials, don't know if you will have all the connections for the cable on the screen though. I will look for the how to Greeners put together as it helped me.

Found it:

And this?

This is connections to the old analogue tv aerial, again on rear window but no longer required.

Don't know if you have started to install but mint be worth just plugging everything in and checking it all works before pulling seats and carpets etc out. Also give you a good perception of where everything is etc.

I don't have that box. Anyone knows specifications of it?

And thanks a lot Mr_Shed.
Plugged it all together today but how can i test it before it's in my car? Just put 12V on it? If so, where ?

You will have to find the 17 pin plug in the bottom of the centre dash and plug in there, as below:

Your GPS receiver goes in the centre horseshoe cut out in foam under the rear parcel shelf

This is your diversity aerial positions

Rh for TV

LH for radio, this is one Greeners pictures

This is my set up on living room floor one evening lol
