All there is on the Channels of the TV screen is 1 to 30 then AV, I assume AUX is the same as AV.

That's the lead I wanted, but toys in your car never seem to have them in stock so I got a similar one from another ebay trader (as recommended on here) that also has a rear view camera input, which I don't need but at least it was in stock.

Have you got a portable DVD player or camcorder , if so you could connect one of those and test it, that will tell you whether it is a connection issue or an issue with the dvb receiver

No, might be able to borrow one though,

could I hook it up to a domestic TV and power it with a 12v battery?

Hi Roy,

Sorry to hear of your troubles, it seemed so simple the other day. I maybe clutching at straws here, but for some reason, I seem to think I saw two sets of inputs on the fly lead from the adaptor in the wiring loom, assuming there is, you have tried both?
