Default Engine Flush?

Evening all.

So, servicing my 75 favelift (CDTI) on friday, after promisig myself for weeks.
As I don't know the history of the car, would anyone recomending using an engin flush? I don't like the thought of thinning oil out in any way but tbh it'll be cheap old NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- that's in there no doubt. Whey what's left of it anyhow as orings on intercooler had gone.

Cheers.
