Moonraker Blue. Same colour that mine was. Best colour in my opinion .

Never quite got to the Vitesse, but my father owned a very early 3500 (VVH755R) in Pendelican White, followed by a Black V8S which I inherited and still have. It was a 1980 (one of only 1,100 V8Ss produced) bought in 1983 from the widow of the original owner with under 2,000 miles on the clock - he became ill only a few months into ownership, and the car was laid up . He died when it was only 18 months old and his widow decided to sell when it became due for an MOT. It still has less than 30,000m miles on the clock, and is totally original - complete with minor rust blisters which it had by the time my father bought it! It has the only 3 extras available to this limited model - black paint, automatic transmission and leather interior, and I just wish I liked it more - but sentimentality has kept it in my ownership. My father only used it for 6 years, before buying a Jaguar Sovereign 4.2 series 3, again at 3 years old. He then considered the Rover a tin can in comparison to the Jag, and it sat in a garage until he died in 1995, hence the low mileage.

The dog is very, very like my Quizzie. .

And I've always liked the 3.5 litre SD1. Probably something to do with marshaling many BTCC races where they were a potent force. Never even been in one, let alone owned one.
