Default Alloy Wheel Advice

I'm now looking at some wheels and they must be 18". What other cars are there about that would be a straight swap?

some Subaru Legacy models in 18" are correct offset, bore, stud pattern - however the specified bolt sizes are different - i'm not sure the Rover bolts would be suitable/safe to use - 12mm, 1.25 pitch for legacy wheels / 14mm 1.50 pitch for 75/ZT - i've seen Legacy wheels on a 75, so maybe the bolts will fit through the wheels (2mm difference) this slight mismatch is what puts me off using any non MG/Rover wheels maybe the pitch isn't too big a difference

12mm 1.25 pitch is an ISO standard - so i recon most wheels with the correct stud pattern, bore, offset will still not be and exact/direct fit

lol...not trying to put you off just sharing what concerned me about changing wheels

can anyone confirm - r.e the lug bolt sizes, would the pitch be relating to the bolt thread ? i was concerned about the angle of the bolt head securing to the wheel - on second thought, i realise a 1.25/1.50mm pitch would not relate to the angle of the bolt head

if so, my concern about the spec difference would not be valid
