Default Cleaned EGR, found carnage - advice needed

So I removed and cleaned the EGR today and pinched off the spigot as recommended on here, but while it was off I found a couple of things that are cause for concern.

1. The vacuum pipe is connected to some components on a bracket-like piece of metal, but this has completely sheared off (red circle) and is just sitting loose in the engine compartment. This can not be a good thing.

2. There is most definitely a bolt missing from the pipe bracket circled in yellow. Who the hell has been brutalising this car??!!

Also, I wanted to put my replacement MAF in as well but got stopped in my tracks by this torx screw, which needs a hollow bit.
Where can I get one and can you tell me what they are called?

Cracked bracket is bad but very normal. You can hold it in place with a cable tie, but actually fixing it looks to be a nightmare. Mine had no issue with it like that for years.

The "funny torx" is "security torx".

Not brutalised, the broken bracket is common. It breaks due to corrosion and vibration, Tie it up with a cable tie. The Torx keys are readily available on e-bay.
Ooh, 2 very definitive answers lol

It's a bit fiddly but two bolts and the bracket is off. Have welded one in the past, only to have it break again a few years later.

Since then it has been cable tied to the starter motor with no problems.

We had that, easy fix, as long as you have access to a mig welder. A few minutes welding, good as new.

Do you guys have any input on that missing bolt shown in the yellow circle?
Here's a better pic:

I was wondering if this was intentional because when pulled flush to the join, there is quite a lot of pressure on the hoses/pipes surrounding it.

Im gonna assume when its had a clutch or some work done the pipes have been bent a bit leading to added "strain" when pushing them together therefore who ever has put it back together felt like leaving the bolt out.
Personally i'd put it back in if you can otherwise leave it be, but i hate anything with missing bits!
